The new GSX-R 600 combines a new, more compact twin-spar aluminium-alloy frame with a bolt-on rear sub-frame and a 20mm longer swingarm, placing more weight on the front wheel. The frame itself weighs 2 kilograms less than the previous model, yet its torsional rigidity to weight ratio is improved by 10%. Rake and trail measure 24° and 96mm and wheelbase measures 1,400mm.
New, fully adjustable conventional front forks with cartridge dampers are lighter and deliver 5mm more wheel travel. New triple clamps carry the fork legs 7mm closer together, reducing frontal area for better aerodynamics as well as reducing steering effort.
A new fully adjustable piggyback reservoir shock has a 25mm shorter, 6mm larger diameter body made of aluminium instead of steel. The new shock is 500 grams lighter and delivers 130mm of wheel travel through a progressive linkage. The aluminium body dissipates heat better and the internal heat compensation system is larger and more effective, both contributing to more consistent damping performance. The upper shock mount incorporates a ride height adjustment bracket.
The 320mm front brake discs work with new, lighter four-piston calipers featuring large aluminium alloy pistons.
Engine 599cc 4 stroke, in-line 4 cylinder, 16 valve DOHC.
Bore x Stroke 67mm x 42.5mm
Compression Ratio 12.2:1
Induction EFI - 38mm throttle bodies
Ignition Digital
Starter Electric
Gearbox 6-speed
Length x Width x Height 2,040mm x 715mm x 1,135mm
Wheelbase 1400mm
Rake / Trail 24° / 96mm
Seat Height 830mm
Ground Clearance 130mm
Fuel 18 Litres
Suspension – Front Telescopic, fully adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping.
Suspension – Rear Monoshock, fully adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping

Hello! I’m interested in knowing the horsepower and torque this 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 600 comes from the factory. It seems this information is TOP SECRET by sport bike standards and can’t find it online anywhere, even on suzuki website. If you have this information available, please let me know since I’m considering purchasing one soon . Thanks alot - ALEX Lopez

Hi,
i have studied in my research that this kind of data is not to know by the public.
Everywhere i asked, i had an answere like this: “you need to contact your suzuki dealer for torque specs”.
So the best way to fin out, is to call your dealer, i can do that also, but i don’t have the time to do nothing..
Best wishes,

Hey ALEX Lopez
I have a webpage at home that gives all teh facts on the GSR 600 modles til 2006. Its hard to fidn specs for anything from 2005 up.
This is what it says
125BHP
93KW with ram 96.When I get hoem I can cut an paste the rest. I am hoping that the 2007 ( I have one) is a bit more powerfulbecasue that would be sweet. It certainly holds up well on the track.

I have a 1992 Suzuki 250cc RGV that has been modified to fit a 1990 SUZUKI gsxr 400cc engine. The carbuerators with slight modifications of tilt managed to fit in the width of the frame.
Because of heavy custom duties specially on bikes of larger cc at Pakistan I cannot afford the new 600cc Suzuki gsxr. Can somebody kindly tell me if the new 600 gsxr engine can fit into a 1992 RGV frame? Is there enough width for that as I have been told the new engines are quite compact. That is an affordable solution for me if possible.

I own a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 600. I love it. It is very responsive and powerfull, great bike! For the bhp (brake horse power) info check out this web-site (if you click on “motorcycle reviews” there is info on many other brands and models as well–very informative site. FYI - the page is slow loading): http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/bikereviews/searchresults/Bike-Reviews/Suzuki/Suzuki-GSX-R600-2006-current/?&R=EPI-438
