The Grand Touring is based on the standard Bandit 1250 model, but features extras which include a full fairing, a luggage system and a Garmin Zumo GPS system. These extras add up to £1500(3000$ USD) over the standard ABS model.

The motorcycle will have a recommended retail price of just £6,799(13600$ USD) . Only £1000(2000$ USD) more than the standard Bandit 1250.

The Garmin Zumo GPS system will feature dedicated Suzuki software, which will list every official Suzuki dealer in the country. There are also plans to set up an online element, where there will be downloads available such as Suzuki routes and waypoints.

Suzuki sales and marketing director Nick Palmer said, “We are delighted to be able to bring the 1250GT to market with such a comprehensive specification. The 1200 model proved exceptionally popular, and with the boosted performance and agility of the 1250 combined with the added GT specification, this new model brings a very real alternative to those looking for a serious mile-muncher”.
