Kawasaki unveiled the 2008 Kawasaki ZZ-R1400 alongside the 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, the 2008 Kawasaki VN2000 Classic, and the 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R at an exclusive press event on the eve of the 2007 Paris Motorcycle Show.
The main talking point was the new Metallic Diablo Black paintscheme. The metallic paint sparkles in the light; sadly Red and Blue versions aren’t due for Europe.
Other updates include third honeycomb catalyser, new ECU and O2 senors; and other chqnges to meet the stringent Euro 3 emission standards. Other changes were then made to the 2008 Kawasaki ZZ-R1400 to ensure that it improved power and driveability, and mechanical noise has been reduced.
The chassis of the 2008 Kawasaki ZZ-R1400 is also slightly lighter due to the use of die casting; rather than gravity casting; to for, the parts.
The other models launched alongside the 2008 Kawasaki ZZ-R1400 were the 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R; the 2008 Kawasaki VN2000 Classic; and the 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R.
