zx6r kawaski

In 1998 the new ZX9R was joined by the second generation ZX6R. The intention of the ‘6R’ was to provide a machine that would be a good basis for race-track success, while trying to match the comfort levels of both the previous ZX6R, and the CBR600F3. In comparison tests it was a close call between the two, with the CBR usually edging out the ZX6R by the smallest of margins. Power peaked at 94.5bhp, with torque max-ing out at 43.4ft/lb’s. wet weight was 446lb’s.
