ur right...people are too quick to judge. When people see it in person...I think they are going to change directions of their views..lol This machine is going to be a formidable opponent to be reckon with and I can't wait to pick mine up in March 2008..lol The reason for the exhaust change was for centralization and imagine the nimbleness its gonna have !!

I've seen this bike in person and can say that photos don't do it any justice. The difference in dimensions are immediately noticable(vs2007mod). The pipe even looks let's say, not so weird. Can't wait to see if the gixxer 1000 finally has a legitimate foe on the road.

Fireblade 2008: I like it. I've so far heard many people complaining that they're unhappy with the design. I think they'll change their mind when the looks start growing on them. Few people can tell good design from pictures: let's wait to see it on the road. I might not fully like - yet - the design of the exhaust pipe. But I'm happy they rid the bike of that under-tail pipe. I salute Honda for being so brave and changing a winning design again - every 4 years for that matter - MV Agusta, are you hearing that? It looks different for one, unlike most of the others. In a moment when the new Ducati 1098 looks so much like my CBR 2006 (missing you 999), here it comes a brand new Blade.
Blast it!
